Dune - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack 2XLP

The gatefold artwork by Greg Ruth alone is worth the price, and Hans Zimmer's score sounds massive on this pressing. Spinning side one as the sun goes down feels like stepping onto Arrakis.

The vinyl itself is surprisingly quiet and well-pressed, letting Hans Zimmer's bass notes really rumble during "Paul's Dream." The eco-friendly packaging feels sturdy and the Greg Ruth artwork is a nice bonus for any Dune fan.

The gatefold packaging is gorgeous, and Greg Ruth's artwork looks even better in person than in the photos. I've spun this twice through and the pressing is clean with no surface noise, which isn't always guaranteed with eco vinyl.
