Monster - Original Soundtrack 2XLP

The 180-gram pressing is dead quiet, and the dynamic range really brings out the tension in the quieter orchestral passages. It’s a fantastic soundtrack to hear on vinyl.

The vinyl’s weight feels substantial in hand, and the pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which makes the eerie score land even harder. I’ve played it three times already and the surface noise stays minimal, so the tension in the second half really shines.

I was surprised at how well the album captures the show’s tense mood—the track with the piano theme alone is worth the purchase. The double LP packaging feels substantial, and the clear vinyl looks great on my turntable.
