Ratatouille – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack 2XLP

The wax is dead quiet between tracks, which makes Giacchino’s delicate piano passages really shine. Spinning “Le Festin” on side B gave me chills, and the packaging feels sturdy enough to survive years of shelf moves.

The gatefold opens so smoothly and the artwork inside is a nice touch, but what really sells it is how clean the lacquer sounds on tracks like "Le Festin." Spinning this feels like the movie’s warmth is pressed right into the grooves, and the double LP split keeps the flow intact.

Finally, a proper vinyl pressing of Giacchino's breathtaking Parisian score. The gatefold packaging features beautiful artwork from the film, and the 2XLP format really lets the orchestral detail shine.
