Scream With Me LP by Pajo

The couch-surfing energy really comes through on this pressing—it’s raw and immediate, like Pajo’s right there in the room. The acoustic takes strip the Misfits’ punk edge down to something almost fragile, and the cassette origin gives it a warm, worn-in feel I keep coming back to.

The raw cassette hiss adds so much texture to these Misfits covers — it really captures that 2004 Brooklyn couch-surfing vibe. Hearing Pajo's fingerpicking on tracks I've known for years makes them feel completely new.

The lo-fi cassette recordings give these Misfits covers such a raw, intimate feel—it's like you're there in the room with him. The vinyl pressing is clean despite the source material being so gritty. Absolutely essential for anyone who loves seeing familiar songs stripped down.
