Star Stories LP

The vinyl itself is a gorgeous deep blue that catches the light just right, and the soft, whimsical piano tracks from the Galaxy soundtrack fill the room perfectly. It’s the kind of record that makes you want to sit on the floor and just listen all the way through.

I put the record on last night and the gentle crackle gave the melodies this dreamy, nostalgic layer that fits the game perfectly. The soft whimsical vibe really comes through in the pressing.

The vinyl pressing is wonderfully warm, making the soft piano covers of the Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack feel even more dreamy. I’ve been playing it on repeat since it arrived, and the whimsical melodies are just as enchanting as I hoped.
