Alien 1000-Piece Puzzle

The puzzle pieces fit together with a satisfying snap, and the 1000-piece count gave me a good weekend's challenge. I love that it's a re-release of the original 2019 SDCC poster design, which feels like a cool collector's item to actually build.

The puzzle pieces have a nice matte finish that reduces glare under my table lamp, and the image reproduction is sharp enough to make the alien details pop. I've worked through about half of it so far and haven't found any bent or poorly cut pieces.

I was a bit nervous about the quality of a licensed puzzle, but the pieces fit together really well and the print is crisp. The artwork is such a fun, retro design—it's been a great way to spend a rainy afternoon.
