Avery U. ★★★★★

This is a dark, gritty transfer that really suits the film's 42nd Street grindhouse vibe; Zoe Lund's intense silent performance comes through perfectly despite the low-res format. Got it mostly for the cult classic extras, and the runtime clocks in at a solid 80 minutes of non-stop tension.

Adam ★★★★★

The packaging is sturdy and the tape itself plays clean with no tracking issues, which matters for a title this old. Ferrara’s direction feels raw and urgent here, and the print quality actually holds up well on a CRT. If you’re into gritty 80s revenge flicks, this is a solid addition to the shelf.

Emma ★★★★★

Zoe Lund's performance as the mute seamstress is absolutely haunting, and the film's grim NYC atmosphere comes through perfectly on this tape. The audio is clean for a VHS release, no hiss or tracking issues that you'd expect from a 1981 indie. Glad I finally grabbed this one.
