Neon Maniacs - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack LP Mondo Exclusive

Finally got this on my turntable and the sound is way cleaner than I expected for a first-time release pulled from original DAT tapes. The liner notes by Kendall Roclord Schmidt add a nice touch too, making it feel like a proper archival piece. Worth the wait if you’re a fan of the film.

The gatefold packaging is gorgeous, and the liner notes give great context to the score. I was impressed how clean the sound is straight from those original DAT tapes.

Finally, a proper release for this soundtrack—the sound quality pulled straight from the original DAT tapes is fantastic and so much clearer than the old bootlegs. The gatefold packaging with Earl Kess’s artwork makes it feel like a real collector’s item.
