GODZILLA MUSEUM: Gojira (1954)

The detailing on this little statue is incredible for its size, especially the texture on the dorsal fins. It's a fitting tribute to Tsuburaya's original design, and the black and white finish makes it feel like a museum piece straight out of 1954.

The black-and-white paint job really captures the eerie, documentary feel of the original film—it looks like a still frame pulled straight from 1954. The sculpting on the dorsal fins is incredibly sharp for such a small piece. This is a perfect send-off for the Series 1 set.

Picked this up to complete the Series 1 set, and the sculpt captures the 1954 suit's texture better than any photo I've seen online. The monochrome paint job makes it feel like a tiny film still, and it's solid enough that I don't worry about it tipping over on the shelf.
