Formatisi a Rochester, NY nel 1976, i New Math hanno aperto per gruppi come Ramones, Pretenders, The Cramps, The Psychedelic Furs, The Damned e The Gun Club in club locali ormai estinti. The Return Of The Living Dead.

Alexander K. ★★★★★

Finally, a proper compilation of New Math's early stuff—the sound quality on this LP is far better than the old bootlegs I'd heard online. The liner notes about them opening for The Ramones and The Cramps really put their raw energy into perspective.

Jason ★★★★★

I'd never heard of New Math before, but this compilation captures that raw, late-70s post-punk energy perfectly. The B-side track with the driving bassline and jagged guitar is an instant favorite.

Robert ★★★★★

The pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which really lets the raw energy of their live-era sound come through. I’ve been spinning it nonstop since it arrived, and the fact they opened for the Ramones and The Damned shows in every frantic guitar riff.
