The vinyl pressing is dead quiet, which really lets Poe's words and the subtle background ambience crawl under your skin. I’ve listened to it three times already and notice a new detail in the soundscape with each spin. This is exactly the kind of atmospheric horror I was hoping for.

The audio quality is eerie in the best way, with every whisper and crack in the narration coming through crystal clear on the 2xLP format. I've listened to it twice in a row already, and the vinyl-only release makes it feel like a proper collector's item for Poe fans.

The packaging is gorgeous and the pressing itself is dead quiet, which matters a lot for a spoken word record. I only wish the liner notes had included a printed copy of the story so I could follow along without squinting at my phone.
