エルム街の悪夢 オリジナル・モーション・ピクチャー・サウンドトラック レコード

That eerie synth melody sounds even more unsettling on vinyl, the analog warmth giving those off-key notes a depth I didn't expect. Spun it at low volume with the lights off and it completely set the mood. The pressing is quiet too, which makes the creepy silences hit harder.

The opening synth cue hits so clean on this pressing that it gave me chills before the first guitar stab even kicked in. Bernstein’s mix of creepy synths and those off-kilter strings sounds incredibly rich here, and the quiet passages stay dead silent between tracks.

The vinyl itself feels hefty and well-pressed, and the creepy synth score sounds wonderfully full on my turntable. I’d almost forgot how unnerving that opening theme gets when it’s not compressed through a streaming app.
