Michael Giacchino와 그의 Nouvelle Modernica Orchestra - Travelogue Volume 1 CD

The orchestration on this concept album is so cinematic it feels like a film score without a movie, which is exactly what I hoped for. The CD arrived in solid packaging and the track flow between pieces is seamless, making it perfect for a long drive.

I’d been waiting for something like this from Giacchino—a full concept album that’s not tied to any film—and the orchestral textures here are just gorgeous. The way the tracks flow into each other makes it feel like one continuous story, and I’ve already queued it up twice on repeat.

Playing this while cooking Sunday dinner made the whole apartment feel like a tiny film score, which is exactly what I hoped for from Giacchino’s first non-soundtrack project. The way the concept album flows track to track is so smooth, and the CD itself came in perfect shape with no skips.
