Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire - Kong Soft Vinyl - Primal Frost Variant

The swivel articulation on this Kong figure feels smooth and sturdy, just like the premium sofubi line promises. The frost variant’s subtle blue tinting really pops under my shelf light, and it stands perfectly without a base.

The frost variant paint job looks incredible in person—way more dynamic than the standard release, and the swivel joints at the neck and arms give it a nice range for posing. It’s got that classic soft vinyl feel, weighty but not fragile, and the sculpt captures Kong’s fur detail surprisingly well.

The articulation is decent but the paint on the Primal Frost variant has some uneven spots, especially around the chest. Swivel joints feel a bit stiff out of the box, though I appreciate the classic sofubi-inspired look. It's a nice display piece, just not flawless for the price.
