H. P. Lovecrafts Het schilderij in het huis LP

The heavy 180-gram vinyl pressing really captures the low-end rumble and eerie silences of Frizzi’s composition perfectly. I was especially impressed with how the orchestration builds tension without ever feeling overblown. Easily my go-to late-night listening for a creepy atmosphere.

Fabio Frizzi’s score really pulls you into the story—the strings build that dread so well you almost hear the rain against the house. The vinyl’s surface is dead quiet between tracks, which makes the sudden shifts in mood hit even harder.

The orchestral score by Fabio Frizzi perfectly captures that creeping dread from the original story. I've been playing it on repeat, and the vinyl itself has a nice weight to it with minimal surface noise.
