IV 2xLP by MAINE

I was blown away by how warm and raw the recordings sound, every crackle and pop adds to the atmosphere. The gatefold sleeve feels substantial and the vinyl itself is perfectly flat with no warps.

The liner notes mention everything was recorded live to tape, and you can genuinely hear that warmth in every bassline and synth pad. It feels like rediscovering why I fell in love with electronic music in the first place.

Crackling and rich from the first needle drop, IV sounds like it was pressed straight from a 1970s studio session. The fact that there’s zero MIDI anywhere on the record makes every drum hit and synth line feel alive, and the vinyl surface noise only adds to the charm. I’ve spun it three times today
