Rogue One: A Star Wars Story - Uitgebreide Editie 4XLP

The 4XLP format finally gives this score the breathing room it deserves, and the expanded tracks flow beautifully across all four discs. I’ve been picking out new details in the orchestration on every side, especially the quieter character moments that got buried in the film mix.

Spinning side two tonight and the soundstage is incredibly wide—those quiet string cues in "Jyn Erso's Theme" really breathe between the grooves. Four records means a lot of flipping, but the expanded track order makes it worth the effort.

I was a bit worried the vinyl might have surface noise given it's a 4XLP set, but each disc is dead quiet and the expanded score is a treat for any fan of the film's music.
