Super Castlevania IV – Originele Videogame Soundtrack 2XLP

The gatefold sleeve is beautifully designed with detailed artwork that captures the dark gothic vibe of the game. The 180-gram vinyl feels substantial and plays perfectly, with no surface noise at all.

The bass on Bloody Tears rumbles through my living room like the game's clock tower come to life, and the 2XLP pressing is dead quiet between tracks. Spinning this for the first time brought back every stair-climbing panic from 1991.

The sleeve art alone is worth framing, but the real treat is how the 1991 soundtrack’s dark, layered synths and heavy organ hits come through with surprising clarity on this 2XLP. I put it on for a rainy afternoon and ended up replaying side B twice—it’s a proper tribute to the SNES classic.
