The gatefold packaging is really sturdy, and the vinyl itself came flat and warp-free. Cranked up "Pork Chop Express" and the synth bass sounded massive through my setup.

This pressing captures the low-end rumble of Carpenter's synth score perfectly — the bass in "Pork Chop Express" sounds massive. The gatefold jacket reveals some gorgeous stills from the movie.

I was surprised how clear the synth lines sound across both LPs—the mix really lets Carpenter's score breathe. Only wish the gatefold sleeve had a bit more artwork inside.
