Black Dragon Press x Mondo #14: The Sacrifice (Variant)

Rovina Cai’s artwork on this variant is absolutely stunning in person—the muted, dreamlike color palette feels even richer up close than in the photos. The archival print quality is top-notch, and the fact that it’s a 2018 limited edition makes it a real centerpiece for any film poster wall.

The foil on this variant shimmers beautifully under gallery lights—holds up the detail of Cai's brushwork perfectly. It’s a heavy, museum-grade stock that feels substantial in the hands. I’m thrilled to own a piece from this 2018 release.

The archival quality is solid and the 2018 print feels well-made, but for a collectible tied to such a revered film, the image doesn't quite capture the emotional weight I was hoping for. It's a nice piece, just not the standout in my collection.
