Mondo Music, in partnership with Laika, are proud to present the 15th anniversary soundtrack to the 2009 stop-motion animated masterpiece CORALINE. The soundtrack to CORALINE is as haunting as it is whimsical. With the help of the Budapest Orchestra and Choir behind him, composer Bruno Coulais captures the dark child-like imagination of the titular protagonist with menace and aplomb. (And of course, the “Other Father Song” by They Might Be Giants is included as well.) Bruno Coulais’ now classic score is presented here as a 2xLP set, housed in an ultra-deluxe package, with a detailed pop-up gatefold that brings the Pink Palace off the record sleeve and into the third dimension. Black is traditional, but if you prefer vermilion and chartreuse, pick up this Limited Edition SDCC Variant!

After years of being one of the most sought-after titles in Mondo’s back-catalog, we are proud to rerelease the original soundtrack to Laika’s 2009 stop-motion masterpiece, CORALINE, in an ultra-deluxe limited-edition package for its 15th anniversary. Based on the Neil Gaiman novel of the same name, CORALINE is a fairytale unlike any other: Uprooted thousands of miles from her former home, and into the mysterious Pink Palace Apartments, our titular heroine is struggling with the change. One day she finds a mysterious door to another dimension - At first a seemingly delightful escape from the mundane, where our heroine’s “other” parents give her as much attention as she wants. But she quickly discovers it comes at a cost and may be the key to other mysterious disappearances. Bruno Coulais’ now classic score is presented here as 2xLP set, housed in an ultra-deluxe package, with a detailed pop-up gatefold that brings the Pink Palace off the record sleeve and into the third dimension. CORALINE – 15th Anniversary Edition features cover art courtesy of Laika, art direction by Josh Manderville with additional art direction by Peter Santa-Maria, conceptual product design + pop-up engineering by Jordan Christianson, gatefold illustration by Dylan Aldaine, creative direction by Cameron Dean and Mondo A&R by Chelsea Taylor. Alexander ★★★★★

The gatefold sleeve feels premium with its embossed details, and the pressing is dead quiet—no surface noise at all. Even my non-fanatic friend commented on how rich and atmospheric the strings sound.

Sophia T. ★★★★★

The gatefold packaging is gorgeous and the vinyl itself has that deep, rich sound you hope for with a soundtrack this atmospheric. I popped it on for a rainy evening and it took me right back to the film's eerie charm.

Finally got my hands on this SDCC variant and the packaging is gorgeous, with that iconic button-eye art really popping. The vinyl itself sounds incredibly clean and atmospheric, bringing the film's haunting score to life perfectly. I've been waiting for this 15th anniversary pressing and it did not
