Mondo Music, in partnership with Laika, are proud to present the 15th anniversary soundtrack to the 2009 stop-motion animated masterpiece CORALINE.

The soundtrack to CORALINE is as haunting as it is whimsical. With the help of the Budapest Orchestra and Choir behind him, composer Bruno Coulais captures the dark child-like imagination of the titular protagonist with menace and aplomb. (And of course, the “Other Father Song” by They Might Be Giants is included as well.) Housed in a hand-assembled, custom gatefold jacket featuring a Pink Palace pop-up engineered by Mondo’s Jordan Christianson and with gatefold artwork by Dylan Aldine.

After years of being one of the most sought-after titles in Mondo’s back-catalog, we are proud to rerelease the original soundtrack to Laika’s 2009 stop-motion masterpiece, CORALINE, in an ultra-deluxe limited-edition package for its 15th anniversary.

Based on the Neil Gaiman novel of the same name, CORALINE is a fairytale unlike any other: Uprooted thousands of miles from her former home, and into the mysterious Pink Palace Apartments, our titular heroine is struggling with the change. One day she finds a mysterious door to another dimension - At first a seemingly delightful escape from the mundane, where our heroine’s “other” parents give her as much attention as she wants. But she quickly discovers it comes at a cost and may be the key to other mysterious disappearances.

Bruno Coulais’ now classic score is presented here as 2xLP set, housed in an ultra-deluxe package, with a detailed pop-up gatefold that brings the Pink Palace off the record sleeve and into the third dimension.
