Dreams In Darkness Screenprinted Poster
Category: Posters
After an exposure to Scarecrow's fear gas, DREAMS IN DARKNESS places Batman in a situation normally reserved for his rogues: locked up in Arkham Asylum. While in a padded cell, Batman faces terrifying visions of his worst enemies while also convincing his doctor that Gotham's water supply is Scarecrow's next target. We love how PCC portrayed Batman's descent into madness and his struggle to overcome his demons, who look down and revel in the Dark Knight's misery.
"Episodes featuring the Scarecrow always allowed for some great surrealist imagery because of his fear toxin, and Dreams in Darkness features the best hallucination sequence of all. There’s an amazing sequence where Batman hallucinates each of his villains morphing from one to the next. It’s nightmarish stuff, and I wanted the poster to emulate that." - Phantom City Creative
