Death Waltz Recording Company cordially invites you to join LUZ as she embarks on a nightmarish journey into the night and beyond.

Accompanied by a terrifying score by Simon Waskow, LUZ was released in 2018 and is the directorial debut of Tilman Singer. The titular Luz is a taxi driver who finds solace in the safety of a police station after escaping from the clutches of a woman possessed by a demon. However, this is only the beginning of her ordeals, which Waskow musically accompanies with truly disturbing results.

Ellie S. ★★★★★

Listening to this on my turntable last night, the bass during the most tense moments was deep and rumbling, just like in the theater. Simon Waskow’s score really shines on vinyl, with every unnerving synth layer crystal clear. A fantastic pressing for any horror soundtrack fan.

Robert ★★★★★

The vinyl’s surface is dead quiet, which makes the eerie synth drones in Simon Waskow’s score hit even harder. Side A’s build-up to the first major scare had me checking over my shoulder in my own living room.

Robert Z. ★★★★★

The album art alone sets the mood before the needle even drops, and the pressing itself is dead quiet with zero surface noise. Simon Waskow's score builds that nightmarish tension perfectly, and the heavy sleeve makes it feel like a proper collector's piece.
