This long awaited new LP from Hunter Complex features 10 tracks of supreme synth goodness, that are at the same time retro and yet totally futuristic. It’s musically rich in ideas: melodies intertwine with soaring synths and 80's style drum machines, but it never once feels like pastiche or carbon copy of a bygone era. The hooks on this record are incredible; its mix of warm analog and bright digital synths feature a layer of complexity that most records in this genre can’t hope to achieve.

You can listen to the entire LP on Bandcamp.

Ava ★★★★★

The synth work on track 3 has this amazing layering that keeps revealing new details with each listen. Pressed on nice heavy vinyl too, which helps the low end punch through cleanly.

Edward W. ★★★★★

The melodies on side B weave together so seamlessly it feels like one long, evolving dream—perfect for late-night listening. The pressing is quiet and clean, letting all those retro-futuristic synth details shine through without any crackle.

Madison ★★★★★

Those synth layers on side A are incredibly intricate; every listen reveals a new melody I missed before. The pressing is dead quiet, letting the retro-futuristic textures really shine through.
