Mondo is proud to present the premiere Vinyl release of the soundtrack to the haunting, original Playstation title Silent Hill. Don't let the tone of the plucky mandolin driven opening track fool you, this is one of the most haunting soundtracks we've ever released. Full of hair-raising and pulse-pounding industrial cues, this soundtrack is the stuff of nightmares. Silent Hill (and its subsequent sequels) has it's feet planted firmly in the legacy of survival horror gaming, due in no small part to this legendary soundtrack.

Hannah ★★★★★

The packaging is gorgeous and the 180-gram vinyl feels heavy and premium. The haunting atmosphere translates perfectly to this format, especially during the quieter ambient tracks. Already ordered the second pressing for a friend.

Lily S. ★★★★★

That opening mandolin track hits so different on vinyl, the quiet crackle between tracks just adds to the dread before the heavier stuff kicks in. The two-LP pressing keeps the flow of the game intact, and I’ve already spun it three times this week just for the atmosphere.

Violet ★★★★★

The vinyl itself feels heavy and well-pressed, and the surface noise is almost nonexistent. I put it on expecting nostalgia, but the haunting atmosphere actually gave me chills all over again, just like the first time I played the game.
