James Horner's score sounds incredible on this 2XLP—the bass really rumbles during the battle sequences. A fantastic expanded set for any Trekkie who loves a good vinyl experience.

The vinyl pressing is dead quiet, letting the dynamic range of James Horner's score really shine, especially during the Enterprise's attack run. I've had it on repeat since it arrived, and the 2XLP format gives the expanded tracks room to breathe.

Listening to side B's "Battle in the Mutara Nebula" on this 2XLP, the bass notes have a richness I never got from streaming. The expanded tracklist finally gives the Klingon theme room to breathe.
