Mondo, in partnership with Hidden Note Records, are proud to present the premiere vinyl pressing of Dashboard Confessional's 2002 EP SUMMERS KISS.

Chris Carrabba's project Dashboard Confessional began as a solo, acoustic act, quickly evolving into the band it is today. But for some, that transition from traveling bard to full-fledged rock band was ushered in by this 2002 EP, which features 4 fully arranged a re-workings of songs from his debut album SWISS ARMY ROMANCE. He even makes a statement of intent in the last track by switching to electric for the epic grande finale of the EP.

Due to the limited copies of each EP you may only purchase one of each, per customer / household.

The gatefold sleeve feels sturdier than a lot of new pressings I've gotten lately, and the 10-inch format fits the EP's mood perfectly. Dropping the needle on "So Impossible" gave me instant 2002 nostalgia, and the surface noise is nearly nonexistent.

The packaging alone made me feel like I was back in 2002 — thick sleeve, nice weight to the record. Cranking up "Screaming Infidelities" on the turntable brought back every lyric without a single skip.

The sound quality on this pressing is fantastic, and the 10-inch format feels like a proper tribute to that era of emo. It's got that warm, analog crackle that makes the whole EP feel even more nostalgic. Glad I picked this up before it sold out.
