Two years ago, we set out on a course with Acme Archives and one of our favorite artists in the galaxy, Jock, to create a series of posters celebrating the iconic Star Wars saga. We kicked it off with “Into the Garbage Chute, Flyboy,” at SDCC ’16. Today, we’re proud to offer the second poster in the series, “That Armor’s Too Strong for Blasters”!

Featuring Luke’s heroic takedown of an AT-AT via lightsaber, Jock continues to provide his unique take on the films by choosing to focus on stunning pivotal moments within each episode.

The screen print texture really comes through on this one—the ink layers have that rich, hand-pulled depth you don't get from digital reproductions. It's a solid 24 by 36, so it commands the wall nicely. Only knock is the paper arrived with a slight curl at one corner, but nothing a few days under a

The 24x36 proportions work great for a hallway wall, and the screen print texture gives it a nice collectible feel. Only wish the paper stock felt a bit heavier, but the hand numbering makes it a solid pick for the price.
