Mondo 237: Area Rug

The acrylic fibers feel surprisingly soft underfoot, and the 7mm pile holds up well to our vacuum without shedding. The hand-tufted backing gives it a nice weight, too.

I was nervous the design might look cheap, but the hand-tufted acrylic is actually really plush and the cotton backing keeps it from slipping at all.

I was pleasantly surprised by how soft the acrylic feels underfoot—definitely not scratchy like some rugs I've had. The cotton backing keeps it from sliding around on my hardwood floor, which was a major concern.
