The 18-inch wingspan is what sold me and it does not disappoint in person, the wings fan out way wider than I expected on my shelf. Paint detail on the wings is sharper than the promo pics suggested.

I was worried 9 inches would feel small on my bookshelf, but the sculpted detail on the wings and thorax makes it the centerpiece up there. The paint job has this matte finish with subtle shading that photos just don't capture.

Wasn't sure the 9" figure would feel worth it until I unboxed it—the sculpt detail on the wings is sharper in person than in photos. It's heavier than my other shelf pieces too, so it doesn't wobble when the cat brushes past.
