Eric Powell 的藝術（與諸多錯誤）

The chance to snag one of the two original sketches is what sold me, but flipping through Eric Powell’s messy mix of failures and successes made the book worth it on its own. The sheer variety in tone and style keeps you turning pages, whether it’s a rough doodle or a polished piece.

The two original sketches Eric threw in for random buyers sealed the deal for me — mine is hanging on the wall already. The mix of low-brow gags and genuinely striking high-art pieces spans decades, and the failure-to-success arc in the commentary feels refreshingly honest. It's a hefty, satisfying

The book itself is a solid collection of Powell’s highs and lows, and the print quality really does justice to the sketchwork. I just wish the two original sketches were easier to see in detail on the page—they’re a nice bonus, but the scan resolution feels a bit soft.
