"The CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON is one of my fave designs in movies ever (I lost count of how many times I have drawn this guy). For the puzzle we decided to go with my RETURN OF THE CREATURE poster because I thought the design and intricacy of the art would be really fun and challenging."
- Francesco Francavilla

The featured artwork was originally a 2018 Mondo Poster by Francesco Francavilla, edition of 275..

The dark lagoon blues and greens are so rich that the puzzle looks like a painting mid-assembly—I kept stopping to admire the shading on the creature's gills. Pieces fit snugly without any bending, and the 1000 count took me a solid weekend of fun. Already eyeing the rest of this artist's movie mons

Emma ★★★★★ Oct 20, 2026

The box art alone had me grinning before I even opened it—the detail on the gills and scales is spot-on. Pieces are thick and click together nicely, and the matte finish keeps glare off while I work on it at night.

Amelia ★★★★★ Oct 18, 2026

The puzzle pieces are surprisingly sturdy and fit together really well—no bent corners in my box. I had a blast working on the Creature from the Black Lagoon artwork, which captures that classic movie poster vibe perfectly.
