Destroyer – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack LP

The vinyl pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which lets the ominous brass and strings breathe exactly like they do in the film. I’ve spun it three times already and keep noticing new layers in the percussion—it’s a must for fans of the movie’s moody atmosphere.

The score really captures that bleak, sun-baked dread of the film, and the packaging feels as moody as the music itself. The gatefold art is gorgeous, and the record itself is a heavy, quality pressing that fits right in with my collection.

The vinyl pressing is dead quiet, letting the haunting strings and percussion really shine. Theodore Shapiro’s score sounds even more menacing on this format than through headphones. A fantastic release for fans of the film’s tense atmosphere.
