Hellbender - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack LP

The vinyl pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which really lets the haunting strings and sparse percussion breathe. Spun it three times already, each listen revealing some new detail in the mix.

That low-end rumble on the first track really sets the mood, and the vinyl itself is dead quiet between songs. I’ve been listening to it on loop all week.

The atmosphere on this pressing is so thick it feels like the film is playing in my living room. The eerie folk tones come through crystal clear on vinyl, and the track sequencing makes for a perfect listen from start to finish. It’s exactly the kind of score I wanted to own physically.
