Killing Spree – Original Soundtrack LP

The pressing is dead quiet between tracks, which lets those brooding synth hooks really breathe. I’ve had side A on repeat for the last hour—it’s dark without ever feeling cheesy, and that Carpenter influence is there but it’s got its own nasty edge.

The bass line on the opening track hits that perfect Carpenter-esque dread, and the synth tones feel properly analog and grimy. Side B’s hooks are catchier than I expected for a "low budget" label, making this a surprisingly strong mood-setter for late-night spins.

Spun this up last night and the main theme just burrows into your skull—the synth work is incredibly dark and those hooks keep pulling me back. The pressing itself sounds clean with minimal surface noise, perfect for late-night listening.
