Live at The Comedy Store, 1973 2xLP 理查德·普賴爾

The live energy is incredible, and the vinyl pressing is dead quiet—no pops between tracks. Hearing Pryor find his rhythm in that small room feels like a time capsule. Been spinning side three on repeat all week.

You can practically hear the cigarette smoke in the room when you drop the needle on side one. The remastering on this 2xLP brings the crowd’s laughter and Pryor’s pacing to life, and the gatefold’s liner notes add real context to the set.

The double-LP packaging feels solid, and splitting the set across two records keeps the sides from dragging. Sound quality's clear for a 1973 live taping, though I wish the liner notes had more detail about the night itself. Still, it's a fun piece of comedy history to spin.
